Dr. Alkhiary is a Consultant Prosthodontist and Dental Implantologist who specializes in all dental restorative works, crowns, fixed and removable dentures, cosmotic dentistry as well as placing and restoring dental implants. Dr. Alkhiary is a Consultant Prosthodontist and Dental Implantologist. Dr. Alkhiary had completed his residency program, Master and Doctorate degree in Prosthodontics from Boston University, Boston, MA, USA. He also completed the Dental Implantology fellowship from the same school. Dr. Alkhiary is not only a clinician; but also a researcher. He published several articles in an International Journals. Dr. Alkhiary’s research interest is on bone histology and biomechanical properties, bone fracture healing and dental Implant Osseointegration. Dr. Alkhiary granted several prestigious awards;2003 he was the First place winner at the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP) Meeting, Boston, MA, USA. In the same year he honored the Young Investigator Award from The American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR), Minneapolis, MN, USA. 2004 he won the Second place table clinic award from the American College of Dentists, Boston, MA, USA. In the same year Dr. Alkhiary was among the 40 finalists out of 454 applicants of the New Investigator Recognition Awards (NIRA) competition of the Orthopaedic Research Society's, San Francisco, CA, USA. Dr. Alkhiary is an Associate Professor, head of Removable Prosthodontics Division, and the Coordinator of Dental Implantology clinics, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Alkhiary was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is married and has 4 children. His hobbies are electronics gadgets, swimming and scuba diving.$0

Research Interests
Dr. Alkhiary is not only a clinician; but also a researcher. He published several articles in an International Journals. Dr. Alkhiary’s research interest is on bone histology and biomechanical properties, bone fracture healing and dental Implant Osseointegration.
Scientific interests
Dr. Alkhiary concerns about the developmental of everything new, particularly in the area of curriculum development, whether in terms of replacement, exclusion of refined of the assigned topics. At the end of each academic year re-evaluation of taught curriculum is performed, and then a series of meetings occur with the faculty members of the division to find the way of strength and improvement to be implemented for the teaching of the following year.
